Please note: This website is under construction so it is very simplistic at the moment. I wanted to have pictures and descriptions as a bare minimum so that you can at least look at my beads even if the ordering functionality is not yet available.
Based on period finds of norse/viking beads.
See a bead style you like but it's not in the color combination you want? I can make these beads in any combination of colors that you see on this page. No extra charge for custom combinations, though there may be a 7-day delay before shipping due to access to the glassworking shop.
I primarily use Effetre glass, so if you want to see the full palette you can take a look at their color chart: Effetre Murano. Note: I don't own every color available, so you may have to ask if you want something unusual.
All colors currently visible on this page are available. I will add pictures of the glass rods in the near future, until then you'll have to look at the different pictures if you want something that is not specifically shown in the color you want.
You can contact me at giana at ggdimilano.ca for ordering information, delivery costs, and custom beads.

These beads are round or oval with dots that have been layered over each other in contrasting colors and then melted to a reasonably flat texture. They can be made in multiple colors with the dots in contrasting or complementary shades. This type of bead can easily be made larger/smaller depending on how many layers of dots you end up with. Multiple layers often end up making an oval or round bead look almost rectangular or square.
Sizes: Average is 1/2" by 1/2" to 3/4" by 3/4".

These are round or oval beads which have had multiple raised dots of contrasting colors added to the surface. Usually I make these with four large dots in the middle and then 4 smaller dots at the top and bottom edges. You can stack as many dots on top of each other as you want, in whatever colors you want, the only thing holding it back is how much the dots stick out.
These are very tactile and really fun to touch!
Sizes: Average is 1/2" by 5/8", though the bumps may stick out more
